Target Outfit of the Week: A Lady-Like Blouse and Block Heels
It’s been a while since I’ve done an outfit post! We’ve been pretty busy around here with school starting for our oldest and getting through several (planned and unplanned) trips (more on those later). I have a lot of writing to catch up on!
My love for Target dresses is pretty well known. Earlier this summer, I did a series on my favorite Target dress finds. To be honest though, I have clothing and accessories from a range of different stores (from high end to lower end). I’ve noticed, however, past year I’ve been finding more and more super cute, complete outfits from Target. While it’s always been known for selling cute, inexpensive things, I feel like they’ve really upped their style game. With this in mind, I’ve decided to put together a (hopefully) weekly post showcasing an outfit primarily made up of Target finds. Now on to the first outfit!
This lady-like blouse can be found here. I love the pop of pink with the collar! The blouse is pretty sheer, so I would recommend a nude colored camisole or tank underneath. Besides the black skirt, I’ve paired it with jeans and my pink pleated skirt, and it looked really cute with those too.
My comfy skirt can be found here. The waist is “smocked”, which in this case means there’s elastic on the back. Heck.YEAH! The subtle pattern of the material, color and large pleats, make this skirt a pretty reusable part of a girl’s closet.
On to the shoes! I love shoes. They’re my THING. These beauties are knock-offs of some Sam Edelman’s I was eye-balling at Nordstrom. If there is one trend to come out this past year, that I’m fully behind, it’s the block heel. I just love how they look and how much easier they are to walk in. I tried them on at the store and after realizing they were just as comfortable as the ones over three times as much, they made their way into my cart. Probably next to a bunch of other cute Targets finds I hadn’t planned on. What can you do?! The shoes can be found here.
