OOTD Target Dress Edition: Day 2
Thanks for joining me for day two of my Target series! I’d like to start with a few reasons why I decided to do a series featuring dresses from this retailer (and no, I’m not being paid or sponsored in any way). The first, is the low price point. I feel like it’s important to show that nice style doesn’t have to be expensive. Many of their dresses are around or under $30, and that’s not including their frequent sales. Second, is their large variety of styles and sizes. Many people can find an attractive dress that fits their style and more importantly, their body. Third and last, it has a large on-line store where my readers who live in areas that don’t have easy access to clothing stores (especially those who live in overseas or isolated bases) can still shop and have a lot of options. I’m all about accessible style!
I found this lovely dress on-line, and not in the actual store. It’s lined, so there’s no need to wear a slip (which is nice because who wants to wear a slip when its hot out anyway?!). You can see how nice and long it is on me (I’m 5 ft 4in…and a half, lol) without shoes, but for you tall girls out there, this would still be a nice length. The dress has straps with cute little ruffles, but I also really like it with the straps down, cold shoulder style.
Just a little tuck of the straps along the front (which I didn’t do for the picture) and you’ve changed the style of the dress from sweet, to a little sexy. The dress (in this color) is still available in several sizes, here. All sizes are available in the navy version, found here.
I hope you like this dress as much as I do! I look forward to sharing tomorrow’s look, which also features the shoulders. As always, thank you for reading! ?~ Lyssa
