Hello world!

     My very first post!  I’m so excited to get started on this new journey and hope that you’ll come along for the ride!

     Why  “Pearls & Pinecones”?  Two reasons.  One, I liked the dichotomy between smooth, feminine pearls (representing me as the lone female among a house full of guys) and rough, masculine pinecones (representing my guys of course!).  The second being that pearls are things that come from water, which reminds me of my beautiful Puerto Rico, while pinecones have always reminded me of Colorado, where my husband (Tyler) is from.  So “Pearls & Pinecones” it is!

     April was a very busy month for us, so my next few posts will be all about playing catch up.  Between April and now, we’ve had a promotion, birthday party, baptism, several day trips,  along with several outfit/style finds that I cant wait to share!     Thanks for reading!  ~Lyssa
